Invest In Your Future Through Your Present Actions

Our Divine Download for May 14, 2026 is Present Moment from the Mary Queen of Angels Oracle with the message "I am fully present in the here-and-now." It is a widely accepted psychological fact that if you are depressed you are living in the past and if you are anxious you are living in the future. Most people walk around with a fine balance of depression and anxiety because most people are not present moment focused. But, the thing is, now is the only time that matters. The past is over. There is nothing that you can do to change it. The future has not yet happened and the greatest impact that you can have on your future is not to worry about it or allow yourself to be in a state of anxiety about it, but to stay as present moment focused as possible because when you anchor yourself and your focus into the present this is the most effective (actually the only) place from which you can actually effect change on future events. We manifest from the present. Not from a state of depression or anxiety. All that trying to manifest from a depressed or anxious state will get us is more depression and anxiety because the universe only responds to vibration. To be present moment focused, really in the here and now means that we do not put off until tomorrow or next week or next month what we can do today. It means that we remove those ridiculous conditions that we are so hell bent on imposing on our circumstances, our relationships, our goals, and our ambitions and we meet ourselves where we are: right here, right now. It means we call or text the people that we care about and we tell them. It means we have the challenging conversations that allow for growth. It means we try the things that maybe have us feeling a little scared, or a little intimidated. It means we don't save things for special occasions, but we enjoy them NOW. Future moments and future circumstances are never guaranteed. The biggest thing that we can do to ensure that we have a future that is aligned with our passions is to be present NOW. To live our lives NOW. To shine our light NOW. To love NOW. Not later. Not tomorrow. Not next week. Not next month. Not when our proverbial ship comes in or whatever magical condition we are waiting for. The truth is that when we stop waiting, when we stop limiting ourselves with conditional time frames and achievements, we can better enjoy our lives and that alone is the biggest action that we can take to pave our proverbial road toward future success(es). So do the damn thing. Today. Right now. Invest in your future through your present actions rather than worrying about a future built on the chances of your inactions. This is the way.
