So here's the thing: that's all bullshit. Like a LOT of bullshit. A big, heapin' stinkin' steamin' pile of bullshit! Even under "normal" circumstances (whatever that even means anymore!) that likelihood and the odds that you are going to "fail" that spectacularly, and that thoroughly, are really pretty darn slim. But we believe this because it's our ego's way of keeping us safe. If we don't try, we stay safe right where we are according to our ego. You know what else we stay? Stuck. Exactly where we are. A wise friend one asked me "Is it worse not knowing or is it worse knowing something bad?" and it is unequivocally worse not knowing! Just like it's worse not trying or not starting. So do it! DO. IT. Whatever it is! Because right now, you really couldn't fail if you tried!
