Our Divine Download for May 19, 2025 is the King of Wands from The Golden Girls Tarot. In other tarot interpretations this would be considered the king of fire, the king of spring, and the king of Archangel Gabriel. The King of Wands is ever so politely telling you to get your shit together. It's time for you to FOCUS. To buckle down and get things done. The King of Wands wants you to focus on whatever you feel passionately about it, but he insists that you be so focused, because of your passion, that you are willing to see something through from beginning to end. He reminds you that when you are passionate about something, you won't want to take short cuts. You'll want to be involved, and to at least oversee every step of the process. He also reminds us that it is vastly easier to focused on something when you are passionate about it. So if there is something (or some things) in your life that you are having difficulty focusing on, it is likely because you aren't passionate about it, so it may be time to re-evaluate your commitment to it. Why would you commit to following something through that you aren't passionate about?! That's a waste of time, a waster of energy, and a waste of your god given talents in all ways. And that simply won't do. Now that's not to say that you will be passionate about everything that you have to do. It's unlikely that you are truly passionate about cleaning your floors, or folding your laundry, doing your dishes, etc. But, your guidance from the King of Wands is still to see it through from beginning to end, because when you can focus on those "must do" tasks and just get them done and out of the way, it creates more space in your life for those things about which you are passionate. And that's where most of your focus, your time, and your energy are meant to be directed right now. It's as simple as that.
