Don't Excuse Your Excuses

Whatever excuses you are making, no matter how much and how badly you may have tried to apply logic and legitimatize them, are still just that: excuses. Excuses are defined as attempts to lessen the blame attaching to (a fault or offense); seek to defend or justify or to release (someone, in this case yourself!) from a duty or a requirement. Knock it off. Cut it out. Stop letting yourself off the hook. No more waiting, there will never be a good enough time. Conditions or circumstance will never be perfect. The time is now. The reality is that if it is important enough to you, you will cut the shit and find a way. Today, make a decision and do it (DO. IT.!!!) even if you don't feel ready. The reality is that you may never feel ready. The procrastination that you are creating through your manufactured excuses is just delaying you from living the life that you want, from the happiness that you deserve, and from the ability to create circumstances that are probably closer to perfect than they would be if you waited for the stars to align or whatever it is that you are waiting on. You will probably never be truly, 100% ready. Delays are always going to happen. Circumstances are always going to shift. But you are being told right now, that ideal or not (and what does that even mean anyway?!) NOW is the time. Don't wait "until..." because there is a very real chance that you will never get to "until..." Just don't wait. Listen to your heart. Trust that you will be led.
