Don't Just Carry Your Stories, Tell Them

Our Divine Download for September 24, 2026 is Rhiannon/The Story Carrier from The Rooted Woman Oracle. Rhiannon is reminding us to remember and uphold our own truths as we progress along our own individual journey. We are being called to insist on telling our own stories ourselves because these stories emerge directly from our own authentic, lived experience. During the course of each average lifetime, each of us will encounter stores that are told about us and against us by others, and some of them will become so deeply interwoven into the fabric of our everyday lives that unraveling them can be hard. Rhiannon is an ally who helps us to discern, and uphold, the stories about our lives which we believe to be true. The stories which come from our own beautiful hearts, and from ways of being and enduring that are unique to us alone. Rhiannon also reminds us that we are meant to tell our stories, we are meant to share our stories, we are not meant to keep our stories and our experiences to ourselves. It is like Brandi Carlile said in her song The Story "...but those stories don't mean anything, when you've got no one to tell them to, it's true..." If we all focused on sharing our stories, our unique lived experiences, with the intention to share that piece of ourselves, to show of what we are made, to share some vulnerability, communication in this world would be so much better and so much more authentic. However, we don't tend to communicate from that point of view. Rather, we lean into communicating from a place of on-boarding others to take some ownership over some part of our story, which they can never do. Because even if they were part of our story, their experience, their story, of the same event that happened at the same place and at the same time will not be the same. Because they are not us. We don't need to share our stories for approval or acceptance. Because when we approve of ourselves and accept ourselves, we don't need external validation from others. Communication becomes simpler, cleaner, and more effective when we aren't seeking external validation. Telling our stories is what breeds closeness in relationships and how we authenticate our stories, our experiences, and our relationships. Which is a pretty cool deal.

When it feels as though we can't find the words or the ways to get our stories out, or it feels like they are too intense and are taking over our internal dialogue, a Karuna Reiki Session can help us find both balance and release. Schedule Your Karuna Reiki Session TODAY: Book Your Session HERE!
