If you are lucky, this means that your life will be full of good and blessed things and that you will also experience your share of death and loss. Our society tends to look at life as a series of goals and accomplishments, and little else. We graduate highschool, then we go to college, we finish college, and then we get a job, we chase promotions and advancement, maybe we have a family somewhere along the way, if we have a family, we raise our kids, they then graduate highschool, potentially go off to trade school or college, then begin their own career journeys. But is that truly living? Is that achieving the full elevation of which we are capable? Because it sounds like a cookie cutter recipe for alleged success, rather than an ideal way to live an elevated life. Yes, most of us have to work in order to earn money to pay our bills. But that doesn't have to define you. Your level of success in life doesn't correlate with your professional level or title. Elevation is measured by moments of happiness, peace, contentment, connection. If you are operating under the assumption that you will just be happy if... or you'll pursue that relationship when... or you could feel peaceful without this one circumstance... knock it off. Because that's all bullshit. It's cop outs and excuses. True success and living an elevated life is an inside job.
