Ground Yourself Into Supportive Action

Our Divine Download for August 22, 2026 is Earth and Ground from The Angel Guide Oracle. What a perfect card to get on the same day that the sun moves into earthy Virgo! We may have been a lil fired up, fiery, or reactive during Leo season, and that probably hasn't been helped by Mars moving into Cancer. We may have been extra emotional and even a lil watery due to Mercury's extended recent time in Cancer, or stuck in that highly charged cerebral air sign energy thinking about our emotions with Mercury at play in Cancer for so long. Now our guidance is to connect with the earth, with the cycles of the earth, and allow the earth to support, sustain, and ground us. Virgo is coming in hot to help us get some shit done, to help us to be meticulous in both our day-to-day habits, as well as planning and taking action towards our long term vision. Virgo needs us to be grounded in order to do that. Virgo is asking us to let go of the overly emotional, cerebral, and fiery times that we have experienced in the recent past and to buckle down and make a commitment to ourselves. Virgo is asking us to be people of our word, especially when it comes to those things that we say we're going to do and say that we want to do. Grounding in to the earthy Virgo energy will bring balance to both our hearts and our minds. When we are grounded and connected to the earth, it doesn't leave much room or energetic space for us to be overly fiery. Passion is perfect, but anger is destructive when projected outwards, or turned inwards. Fire needs to happen in a controlled setting, or we've seen recently in nature how quickly fires can burn out of control. The Earth asks us to tune into ourselves and check in with ourselves and see where we are and how we are functioning and what we need while we listen to and move with the rhythms of the earth and the rhythms of nature. When you're grounded and focused, it doesn't leave much time or much room for overthinking, unexpressed emotions, or out of control anger. The Virgo vibe this season is "head down, straight ahead" in a grounded, supported way. Our Angels are saying to us today that they want us to have everything that we dream of, everything we hold in our hearts, and everything we can possibly think of. In order to do that, we have to take grounded, practical action steps each and every single day. This is the way.
