A planet is said to be debilitated when it is in a sign that is opposite, or completely unlike the sign that it normally ruled. It is least capable of expressing itself in the way that it typically does. This isn't to say that it cannot express itself at all, but must learn to do so by stretching and further developing in a soulful way to learn to express itself through the lens of the different sign. When you are in a situation that is our of your element, you are pushed to live up to your potential, and you may be experiencing some of this energy now.
