Our Divine Download for May 6, 2023 is Maeve/Cycles and Rhythms from the Goddess Guidance Oracle Cards. When I pulled this card I heard The Byrd's "Turn! Turn! Turn!" in my head with the emphasis on the line "To everything turn, turn, turn There is a season turn, turn, turn And a time to every purpose under Heaven." There are cycles and rhythms to everything within our lives. Within our own bodies, within nature, within astrology. I would be challenged to come up with something to which there is not a natural cycle or a natural rhythm. But we don't honor those rhythms and those cycles, even those within our own bodies. We ignore them, and we fight against them, then we get frustrated when things don't go the way that we want them to go or when we don't end up with the results that we were hoping for. #facepalm If we listened to and honored the rhythms and cycles of our own bodies (because we cannot control the rest of the world and so much is simply outside of our sphere of influence) and simply rested when we were tired, and ate when we were hungry, and tuned into our bodies enough to take movement when it requests and needs it, we would have SO much more energy and SO much more power - true power, than we do digging our heals in and rooting ourselves in stubborn ignorance. Check in with your own body right now. Ask it what it is trying to tell you. Ask it which cycles and rhythms it needs and wants you to honor. Start there. You'll be amazed at the difference that it makes in your life.
