Learn, Teach, DO!

Our Divine Download for Friday October 28, 2022 is The Hermit from The Halloween Tarot. The Hermit is a major arcana card, which is sort of like a trump card in traditional playing cards, so when major arcana cards come up we tend to need to pay a bit more attention to their themes that those of some of the other cards in the tarot deck. The Hermit is all about learning and teaching, but also about shining your light and illuminating not just your path, but the entire path for all others. The imagery on this particular card suggests that we are entering into a period of learning through experimentation, or learning by doing. For all of 2022 thus far, the only way out is through, and this is certainly true now. Don't be afraid to experiment. Don't be afraid to do things differently than you may have done them before, in the past. We grow through learning and we learn by doing and by experimenting. Far too often we choose not to do things because we haven't done them before and just assume that we won't be good at them, or that we'll "fail." This card is the perfect reminder that the only way to fail is not to try! So try! Experiment! Do! Learn! Grow! When you do these things in your own life, you inspire others through your connected and divinely inspired action. We are often the student and the teacher simultaneously and this card reminds you not to discount or dismiss your ability to teach others, but asks you to connect to that in a more conscious way.
