Learn To Forgive With Grace

Our Divine Download for February 19, 2025 is Forgiving and Learning from the Romance Angels Oracle Cards with the message "As you release and heal the past, you experience more love in your present moments." I know, I know, I know. Forgiving isn't everyone's favorite topic. BUT, when we combine it with the concept of learning, it takes on a very different spin and a vastly different connotation. What can you learn when you choose to forgive? What can you learn about yourself through the process of forgiving? What can you learn about others? Sometimes these lessons can be very telling, and quite profound. Have you ever forgiven someone only to find out that they absolutely refuse to forgive themselves for whatever they believe that they may have done, or perceived to have done, to have wronged you? Who is holding that energy of unforgiveness helping? But it absolutely IS serving a purpose for the other person and in their life (you may not always be privy to know exactly what that purpose is). Forgiveness is about us. It is about letting go of the heavy energy of carrying whatever needs to be forgiven. It is about us prioritizing our mental and emotional health and refusing to do the emotional or mental work for another (which does not benefit them anyway). But how do you do when it comes to forgiving yourself? How able are you to say "I did the best that I could with what I had and what I knew at the time and I choose to let this go and I choose to let myself off the hook for it, because I have learned to do better?" Not always our greatest strength, and this is especially true for specific generations. But, when we can frame forgiveness with "what did I learn from this experience?" it becomes much easier to extend it to everyone, ourselves included. Challenge yourself to forgive yourself for one thing that you have been holding onto or punishing yourself for, today. Blow it away and revel in what you have learned. This is the way to more loving relationships across the board.
