Light Your Way

Our Divine Download for October 22, 2026 is Befriend the Unknown from The Witch's Way Home Oracle. Change often brings unease, but it also carries the promise of new beginnings. You don't need to see the entire path ahead because in the darkness of the unknown even the smallest light can show the way. The candle held within the cave pictured on this card reminds us of the power of faith and the courage to follow the glimmer of light when all else feels uncertain. Sometimes we have to look for those rays of light that are meant to guide us when things have been or have felt particularly dark. If you are standing at the edge of change, facing the shadows of doubt and looking out over the abyss of undiscovered opportunities, the fear that comes up is that of the unfamiliar. But not everything unknown is necessarily scary or even remotely negative. Change itself yields a certain kind of clarity, sometimes blown in on the the winds of the change itself. It's time to let go of your need for control and it's time to release your attachments to specific outcomes. Instead, open yourself to the wisdom of the unknown. Trust the synchronicities, signs, and whispers of guidance that come your way. Embrace uncertainty with the energy of curiosity, courage, and grace, knowing that each step taken in faith is part of your soul's unfolding journey. Your light will always guide you, even in the darkest of caves and the darkest of hours. Remember that it is always darkest before the dawn, and when it feels like it is pitch black and there is no light that can even exist in the ever-changing landscape that you find yourself in, that is because you are SO very close to that light coming through the end of the proverbial tunnel that it is literally directly in front of you. With change, just like with so many other things in life, the only way out is through. You can get through this, you will. Because change is on the horizon and your inner light will always light your way.
