Mind Your Commitments

Our Divine Download for October 5, 2025 is Wife from the Gypsy Oracle Cards. You do not have to be a wife or to be married, or have been married, or even been engaged in order for this card to be applicable to you, nor do you have to identify as a woman. This card is asking you effectively what are you married to? What have you made a commitment to? This can be consciously or subconsciously. If you aren't sure, aren't sure where your priorities lie, aren't sure where you are investing the bulk of your time and your energy, it is time for you to do some self reflection and self evaluation. There are a lot of people in our society that are married to their work. We place so much value on what we do for a living, what we have materially, and what we make financially, that it is easy to fall into the trap of being a human doing rather than the human beings we are meant to be. We are not meant to work to live, we are meant to live to work. Being aware of this, of your tendencies, of your habits, your patterns, as well as to why you have allowed these to become your habits and your patterns is the first step if you truly want to change them and live an easier, more fulfilling life. We can also be married to our habits, good and bad. Everything from working out, to how we eat, to our social media consumption. Anything that you are leaning on to such an extent that it is controlling you is something that you are energetically tied or bound to in an unproductive or unhealthy way. Be very honest with yourself when you are looking at what you may be married to energetically. Be very honest with yourself when you are looking at what you may want or need to change within those dynamics. It doesn't serve you to be married to anyone or anything other than your husband or your wife. When your primary commitment is to yourself, it becomes easier to see who and what you are committing to and why, as well as to sever those commitments that just aren't serving you.
