Play Up The Peace

Our Divine Download for July 14, 2026 is Golden Orange Dragon from the Dragon Oracle Cards. The Golden Orange Dragon instructs us "Be a peaceful warrior. Help those in need. Remember your magnificence." The Golden Orange Dragon is asking us to be strong, but peaceful. Fierce, but peaceful. Strategic, but peaceful. Brave, but peaceful. Selfless, but peaceful. If you are feeling anything and everything other than peace at the thought of personifying the warrior archetype, than it is time to play up the peace. Often when we are called on to be strong, fierce, brave, etc., we are able to embody and display those attributes, but we may be doing it with a chip on our shoulder because we don't want to have to be strong, brave, fierce, etc. We take our disdain for the circumstances that require these qualities, that insist that we turn up the volume on our own strength, and we transfer that disdain to what are ultimately positive personal characteristics, and that's no good. Instead of feeling good about our ability to be selfless, we get a chip on our shoulder because "we shouldn't have to be." Rather than looking at it like that, look at it as a choice, because ultimately it is. You don't have to be selfless. You could absolutely choose to be selfish and take a different course of action. But you have the privilege of choosing to be selfless by considering the needs of all. You remember your magnificence most accurately when you are framing the circumstances of your life through an accurate lens. The truth of the matter is that we are very, very rarely in circumstances where we don't have any choice. We might not like the choices that we have, but we still have them. There is power in discerning the difference. There is balance in accurate perception. Most importantly there is peace in that power of discernment and within those accurate perceptions. You are able to be the most peaceful warrior when you are at peace within yourself. The more you are at peace within yourself, the easier it becomes to help those in need and to move forward as a warrior about to conquer in all of your affairs. So go forth and conquer - peacefully!
