Practice Your Protection

Phew! This is not an invitation to go play in traffic or to do anything exceptionally reckless. But, it is a guarantee, a reassurance, that Heaven has your back, as well as the backs of all those that you love and care about. This world that we live in is crazy, and it may feel as though it gets crazier every single day. There is a lot that we could worry about, but worry is wasted energy as well as misguided manifestation. This is a gentle reminder that we don't need to worry about it. We're good. Those we love are good. Heaven's got us. Protection does not mean that everything will always magically go our way. Sometimes the universe needs to protect us from ourselves by not giving us exactly what we ask for right when we make that ask. Sometimes it is necessary for us to go through and grow through circumstances that are less than desirable, difficult, or simply not as we want it to be. Sometimes when we have had enough space and emotional distance from those circumstances we are able to see that we avoided a catastrophe because things went down the way that they did. We are all children of the Divine and as such the whole of the universe is conspiring to make sure we achieve our heart's desire. Connecting with these facts offers us yet another layer of protection. Celebrate your Divine protection. Notice it. Appreciate it. Express gratitude towards it. The more attention you pay to your Divine protection, the more protected you will both feel and ultimately be. Conversely, when you pay attention to everything you are afraid of without participating with your Divine protection by noticing it, the more things you will have to be afraid of. Pay attention to your protection!
