Receive Your Celebrations

Our Divine Download for January 24, 2026 is Crane - Celebration from Bird Signs Guidance & Wisdom From Our Feathered Friends. Crane shows up for us today to encourage us to find something to celebrate. Crane is a bird of air and water, focusing on our thoughts and our emotions and alerting us that the best way to bring them into balance at this time is through celebration. We have a bit of a celebration drought in our society where we only celebrate, truly celebrate, the "BIG* things in our lives, like graduations, births, weddings, promotions, etc. But, we sort of ignore, or gloss over the more incremental wins that we experience every single day. We can celebrate our good health (and even if your health isn't perfect, you can still celebrate what IS going right there. Hint: you woke up this morning and are reading this!) Some days you will have bigger, bolder, more profound things to celebrate like personal bests, growth, acts of kindness, learning, etc. Other days, you may be celebrating that you put pants on (hey, pants can be really hard some days!) or that you didn't go on a multi-state murder spree. But every single day that you are alive, there is something to celebrate. If you don't feel like you have much to celebrate, that is a sure sign that you absolutely need to do more celebrating! The other thing that we notice about Crane is his wing span which is impressive. Crane encourages us to spread out wings so that we are showing the universe that we are open to receive (literally once a day, you want to be declaring this to the universe with your arms spread as wide as possible, your hands in an upright, receptive position, and your feet firmly rooted to the Earth to sustain you as you declare "I am open to receive!") Celebration and receptivity often go hand in hand because the more we stay in the celebratory energy of what we have received or accomplished, the more we will receive and accomplish. And that's a pretty big deal!
