Reconnect With Your Inner Child

Our Divine Download for February 18, 2026 is Children from the Romance Angels Oracle Cards with the message "Your love life is being affected by children." Your inner child is begging for your attention and direct connection. There are certain factors or patterns within your intimate relationships that have bubbled to the surface during the shedding of the Year of the Snake that now need your attention for integration and healing. Coming off of such a serious year of introspection and doing a deep dive into our inner work, our inner child may simply need to be acknowledged, nurtured, and even played with. Your inner child has been within you longer than the current archetypes that are driving your personality and there is likely some integration that needs to happen after our year of deep, dark, inner work. The best way for us to acknowledge, honor, and nurture our inner child is though play as that is how all children most easily connect, learn, and relate. When was the last time you had some fun? When was the last time you prioritized having fun? Your inner child is literally begging you to do so. Like NOW. It is immensely important to your integration of all of the hard work that you did last year, as well as the health and well-being of all of your relationships. Sit with your inner child. Connect with your inner child. Ask your inner child how they want and need to play. See if you can meet your inner child on the common ground of an activity or an experience that is fun for you both. See if there is fun that your inner child is encouraging you to experience again that you have long since forgotten about. Be willing to go on adventures with your inner child. Be willing to discover those parts of your inner child that are still profound parts of who you are today. Be willing to explore your world, and yourself, through the eyes of your inner child. And maybe prioritize having some damn fun doing so while you are at it.
