Our Divine Download for January 14, 2023 is Best Friends from the Magical Unicorns Oracle Cards. As soon as I pulled this card I heard The Beatles "With A Little Help From My Friends" loud and clear. We need to lean on and lean into our friends a bit more than we have been and we need to let them support us in whatever way that needs to look for us right now. Regardless of whether or not we are going through something specific, this is our general guidance. We went through several years where circumstances caused us to be separate from people, from our people in many cases, and human beings just are not designed to be solitary creatures. This separateness and that separation hurt us more than we may have yet realized. So now instead of being separate, we are encouraged to be together and we are being encouraged to lean into our people and spend more time with them. It could also be that for many of us, we need to cultivate a bigger or a slightly different friend group than we have previously had, and this is our gentle nudge from the universe that it is time for us to do so. It is time for us to prioritize doing so. We are meant to be with people, with our people, and to allow them to support us. We have this stubborn mentality that we need to and are supposed to do it all ourselves and that's just nonsense first of all, but it's not realistic either. When someone offers help, or offers to do something for us, we are telling the universe that we don't need help or assistance in ANY way. Which is a dangerous thing to be telling the universe. Also, when you refuse to receive the help or the support that is offered, you are denying the giver the joy of the gift of giving. How would you feel if someone did that do you? (So maybe don't do that to someone else!) We all need to get by with a little help from our friends. Be willing to receive that help. Work on connecting with your people.
