Balance Giving & Receiving

Our Divine Download for April 19, 2026 is Give & Receive from the Gentle Wisdom of the Faerie Realms. Relationships are meant to be reciprocal. This isn't to say that they are meant to be, or have to be 50/50, all of the time. That simply isn't realistic. Where each individual party in any relationship is at any point in time determines what they are able to contribute. Sometimes when you are really going through it, your contribution may only be able to be 30%, 20%, or even 10%. The other party in the relationship can step up during those times and meet you by contributing 70%, 80%, 90%. And eventually the pendulum swings the other way, roles and circumstances are reversed, and things balance back out. Things aren't always that extreme, and people don't always do their best or give their all. That's life. That's human nature. Sometimes people become complacent for a variety of different reasons and may only ever pour into you at a very minimal level, regardless of what they do or do not have going on in their life. Look at the overall patterns within your relationships for that give and take. If you are always pouring into someone at a 10, but they are only ever meeting you a 3, and there isn't a reason for it, it's just complacency, that's no good. Match their energy. If they want your 10, they need to step up their gain, match your energy, meet your give and take, and earn it. If they're not willing to do so and instead withdraw entirely, you need to decide if that type of energetic mismatch is going to work for you long term and you're willing to accept their 3 to your 10 indefinitely. Also look at how much you are giving and what you are allowing yourself to receive, what you are willing to receive from people. When you refuse to participate in an energetic exchange that includes both giving and receiving, not only are you denying the other person the joy of giving to you, but you are telling the universe that you do not want or need to receive support of any kind. And that's no bueno. Work on receiving, work on your willingness and ability to receive. Find those energetic balances and matches. Balance is the name of the game.
