Our Divine Download for November 7, 2022 is Strength/Uraz from The Rune Cards. Strength is the Rune of termination and new beginnings. Drawing this rune indicates that the life that you have been living has outgrown its form which now must die so that life energy can be released in a new form. Uruz is a Rune of passage, and as such, part of Cycle of Initiation. Humans don't like change, and as such we cause ourselves endless suffering and discomfort by holding onto people, places, and situations that have LONG been outgrown, when simply letting go would have released and freed so much energy. Even positive growth and change may involve a temporary descent into darkness as part of the cycle of perpetual renewal. Strength councils you to prepare for an opportunity disguised as loss. This is a necessary loss as you have been living a part of your life through this relationship or situation and in this bond being severed or radically changed you will discover a new perspective and new strength. Self-change is never coerced and we are always free to resist, but in doing so remain mindful that the new form, the new life, is always greater than the old. Whatever relationship, situation, or dynamic first came to mind or to heart when you read this, especially one that invoked a fearful reaction, is exactly the one where you know there needs to be change, and potentially a metaphorical death. When we mindfully make this choice and these changes in order to put ourselves first and find ourselves again, we are better int he present moment flow and the potential darkness is usually temporary and much more tolerable.
