How's your self-care going? I'm not talking about face masks, mani/pedi's, and spa days. I'm talking about the type of self-care that isn't always easy, and doesn't always feel super great or isn't always super easy in the moment. Are you caring for yourself by getting enough sleep? Are you caring for yourself by intentionally moving your body daily? Are you caring for yourself by making sure that you are properly hydrated? Are you caring for yourself with appropriate nutrition? Are you caring for yourself by making sure that your mental health is as optimal as it can be? Are you caring for yourself by taking care of those tasks on your to-do list that are neither fun nor easy, but are necessary? You are being put on notice that something in your self-care routine needs to be addressed. It could simply be that you need to prioritize self-care and make it non-negotiable, rather than something you'll get to if and when you have time (spoiler alert: you won't ever have time unless you make it.) The more that you care for yourself, the better that you care for yourself, the more you will be able to receive, notice, and truly feel the care from others around you. It becomes easier to notice this and to connect with Spirit when you prioritize self-care in your life. Self-care may feel challenging or hard, until it becomes a scheduled, non-negotiable part of your routing, but it pays off in dividends and ultimately paves the way for everything in your life to be easier. Prioritizing self-care brings more care and support into your life in many, many, sometimes even miraculous ways.
