Celebrate Yourself!

Our Divine Download for July 20, 2025 is Celebration from the Black Goddess Within Oracle. Receiving this card is an invitation to share your joy with those who will celebrate with you. The size of your accomplishment does not matter as long as your celebration is done in community with people who share the joy of your success and will reflect your wholeness and your beauty back to you. We don't celebrate enough in our culture. I'm not talking about the stereotypical holiday celebrations which sometimes can feel more obligatory than celebratory. I'm talking about grabbing your loved ones and truly celebrating. Wholeness, deep joy, and beauty are your birthright. Are you allowing yourself to feel those lovely feelings? Are you doing what you need to do within yourself to promote a culture where you have a community who will cheer for you and celebrate your accomplishments with you louder than you ever thought possible? It all begins with your celebrating yourself. Do you tell yourself that you're proud of yourself every single day (out loud!)? Do it. There is at least one thing for your to be proud of yourself for each and every day. Sometimes it may be that you're proud of yourself that you put pants on (hey, pants can be hard!), sometimes it may be that you're proud of yourself for simply getting out of bed, some days you may be proud of yourself that you did not go on a multi-state murder spree. Other days, you will be more connected to your deeper accomplishments and all of the many, many things that you have accomplished which truly are worthy of being celebrated. Don't shy away from acknowledging your celebrations. Share them with friends. Celebrate together. Build a sense of community rooted in celebrating those things that truly matter in personal growth and development land. You're worth it. Energy flows where attention goes, and the more you focus on celebrating your accomplishments, the more accomplishments and celebrations you will have. That sounds pretty darned good to me!
