You should be celebrating all of those things that make you unique and special every single day. What is stopping you from doing so? Because here's the other thing: if you don't accept, acknowledge, and celebrate your gifts, no one is going to do it for you. There is no external validation anywhere near as powerful as internal, personal validation. So many of the challenges that we experience and so very many of the mental health rabbit holes that we go down are based on the back of comparison thinking. Comparison is the absolute quickest way to absolutely tank your internal validation and confidence as well. It is all fine and good to notice others' gifts, so long as you are taking just as much if not more time to notice your own. Mindlessly scrolling the socials thinking that everyone has better, is better, is somehow more than you is neither accurate nor productive. So cut that shit out! It isn't serving you in any way. But you know what will absolutely serve you? Accessing, exploring, and accepting your own gifts! And don't fall into that silly trap of "but I don't have any special or unique gifts or talents..." because that's simply nonsense! You absolutely do! Everyone does! Now go forth and discover and celebrate yourself each and every single day.
