This absolutely includes the people with whom you spend time. If you surround yourself with people who are also struggling with lack mentality, well, it's contagious and it can definitely have a negative impact on your potential abundance. This isn't to say that you cannot have friends who have less abundance than you do, because at the end of the day abundance is a state of mind. The flow of your abundance can also be negatively affected by the attitudes and mental states of those with whom you are spending time as well. You want to spend time with your cheerleaders - those who are always encouraging you, always celebrating you, regardless of what is going on in their own lives. Avoid the naysayers and the downers and the doubters because there is absolutely no room for that kind of negativity in abundance work. If you do not currently have many cheerleaders and encouragers in your life, be mindful of with whom you are sharing your aspirations and desires. Make the conscious choice to be with people who are inspiring, generous, and supportive. If you do not feel as though you have many, or any, of these types of people in your life at present, that's okay, because you can ask (and be open to receive) for the universe to provide you with MORE of these type of people in your life. But in the meantime, don't settle for spending time with people who don't believe in you and your dreams, and are tanking your energy and the flow of your abundance. The opportunity cost of tolerating these types of negative and draining relationships is simply too high.
