Clear Your Mind, Clear The Air

Our Divine Download for November 1, 2026 is Mercury/Express from The Ritual Deck with the correspondences of Air, New Moon, Waxing Moon. Mercury has a lot of nerve showing up for our November 1st Divine Download while currently in retrograde motion in Scorpio, but he means well. Mercury is known as the trickster of the zodiac, mostly because he is fast moving, and he governs our intellect and how we think, as well as how we communicate. To a lesser extent he also rules transportation, travel, and electronics, but as one of the inner, personal planets, his focus is more on our thoughts and our communication. Mercury is showing up for us today to remind us that we are meant to express our thoughts and it may be more necessary for us to communicate our thoughts than we realized. During his retrograde tenure in Scorpio, Mercury is asking us to look inward, do a deep dive, and possibly revisit how we think about something that we carry in the depths of our being. It may be time, it is likely time to rewrite the script as to how we've been looking at something, or even possibly some things. Mercury is also asking us to look at and review our communication. We likely need to be more expressive to others, especially about those deeper parts of ourselves that we tend to keep fairly close to the vest. Of course the reverse could be true, especially if you have been trauma dumping on people that you meet in line in the grocery store. Mercury also asks us to review why we communicate, or possibly don't communicate as well as what we are communicating, both in a general sense. Are you sharing your deepest, most profound experiences with people because you are trying to valid them or yourself? Are you speaking about things that make others uncomfortable because you are in need of care or attention? Have you been avoiding expressing your truth to someone because you are afraid of how they will react or because you don't want to hurt them? Have you avoided speaking up about your personal truth or your needs because it feels like the path of least resistance? Whatever you are doing (or not doing) Mercury says it's not working and it's time to rethink it, rework it, and maybe try something different. It will clear the air and usher in a meaningful new beginning and a lovely new chapter.
