Communicate Consciously

Our Divine Download for June 20, 2026 is Communication from the Messages from the Mermaids. What do you need to say? What do you want to say? What did you say that you know that you shouldn't have communicated? Our communication needs some attention and perhaps a little bit of gentle self reflection. Something that we have been doing within the realms of communication is not working for us. This could also be something that we have not been doing, and well, that's not working for us either. Communication is something that we as human beings have a phenomenal capacity to really mess up. Perception is funny that way. But most of us don't pay a whole lot of attention to our communication, we just do as we've always done, regardless as to how uncomfortable or maladaptive it may be. The universe is putting us on notice that this isn't going to work anymore. It is imperative that we be mindful of our communication. Are we communicating actively or passively? (Active communication is clear and concise and usually requires a response, reply, or acknowledgement from another person. Passive communication is a statement, or an observation that requires to interaction from another person.) Did we really say the thing that we think that we said (or did we just think it?!) Have we been having conversations in our head and assigning communication to people who did not actually communicate with us? Did someone else actually say the thing that caused our panties to be in a proverbial knot or did we make assumptions because we either weren't listening or were only listening through a very specific filter that we created? Communication isn't easy, but it is actually harder, we make it harder when we are not mindful about our communication and when we are not focusing on meaningful, clear, active communication. This card suggests that there is at least one area of communication mentioned about that you need to work on. Be willing to do so. Communicate with your guides and your Angels in order for them to support you in all of your communication endeavors. It will be worth it. It will make your life so much easier overall. This is the way!
