Fortuna is an asteroid located in the main asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter, in the constellation of Leo. Fortuna, as her name suggests, has to do with luck and good fortune. She is showing up for us to alert us that we have fortune, prosperity, abundance and opportunity heading straight for us, right about now! Fortuna is often pictured wearing a blind fold, symbolizing the blind faith that is sometimes, or even often needed in order to allow these types of blessings to flow in for you. If you have experienced some low periods, or low points in your life, with your luck, fortune, prosperity, abundance, and opportunities, this card is your omen, your assurance and your reassurance that the Wheel of Fortune will soon start turning in your direction, but you can't yet see it because you are under the proverbial wheel or at the very bottom of the wheel where it is often the most challenging to detect forward motion or progress, or the beginnings of a shift in momentum.
