Embrace Your Growth As You Age

Our Divine Download for November 7, 2025 is "Don't fear the change; embrace and grow" from the Healing Spirits Oracle. Change is a constant in life, but even so, most creatures, especially homo sapiens, are highly resistant to change. We like things that way that we like them, and we sort of unilaterally reject anything that is outside of the box of our norm. But that is not realistic. We are meant to change and grow and evolve. Constantly. This is vastly easier as children, because it is obvious in our biology and our physical development. We change, learn, and grow every single day and it is very outwardly apparent in our infancy and childhood. But then we hit a point sometime in adulthood and we stop looking at change as growth and we start labeling it as "aging." What is that about? While it is technically true that we are all aging and have been since the moment that we took our very first breaths, because all of our physical bodies come with expiration dates, we are absolutely still growing. We just need to re-frame it to look at it that way. Even if you feel more stagnant or more stuck that you have ever felt before in your life, you are still growing. If this past year has not been easy and you have been struggling wading your way through deep introspection, congratulations! You are growing! Change isn't meant to be feared. Change is meant to be evidential of growth. Sometimes it is true that change is hard. But it is also true that change is only as hard as we make it. Sometimes our circumstances and that pesky timing will make it feel more difficult to embrace, that's only natural. But what is on the other side of change is always better. You're growing either way. You're changing either way. (True story: elementary school science reminds us that every single cell in our bodies turn over every seven years, so in any given year you are literally 1/7th of the person that you were before!) This literally is one of those times where your free will choice allows you to do so the easy way (embrace and grow) or the hard way (fighting fear). Choose wisely my friends. Choose wisely.
