Enjoy The Gift Of Your Recovery

Our Divine Download for February 6, 2026 is Recovery isn't a goal, but a process. from the Healing Cards. This card brings us the message "You never stop repairing an renewing yourself. You must absorb the light and shadow of each day you live. Don't keep your spirit stuck in yesterday as a new day begins. Prayer is a process." So often in our society we focus on the destination, the goal, the end game, rather than the journey. But life is lived in the moments of the journey, the moments between goals, before the destination, and definitely long before the end game. This card is reassuring you that you are in fact recovering. You are. Even if you do not feel it yet, you absolutely, positively are. You may not be feeling it because you are too attached to the unrecovered version of yourself that still exists in the past. They may be over shadowing the recovering present moment version of you. This is your gentle reminder to tune into the present moment version of you. Yes, you can look to the future. Yes, you can hope for bigger, better, different things that what you currently have. You can even make a plan to achieve those things. But allow that plan to unfold from present moment focus, not from past struggle, pain, even potentially resentment. Sometimes it is necessary to reconcile the past in order to recover fully and completely. As you go through your day today, assess which version of yourself is steering your proverbial ship: the past version, the present version, or the future version (who does not yet exist!) Allow yourself to see the beauty and the wonder in your current healing and recovery process. Enjoy where you are at, even if it is not yet where you want to be. Because you will never be where you want to be if you do not practice enjoying these present moments. #facts
