Our Divine Download for May 21, 2025 is Ten of Swords from The Golden Girls Tarot. In other tarot interpretations this would be the ten of air, ten of winter, ten of Archangel Michael. Normally we don't love air cards in tarot because they have to do with cerebral energy and that has to do with our thinking, our over thinking, and our stinkin' thinkin' (not that we ever do any of that!), but the Ten of Swords let's us know that we are at the END of a difficult situation. Our guidance with the Ten of Swords is to expect things to get better. Yes, even when we may have been through this cycle before and we didn't particularly care for where we ended up. This time it is different. The Ten of Swords can also indicate an end of an addiction (and an addiction doesn't have to just be to drugs or alcohol. Human beings have a phenomenal capacity to be addicted to damn near anything!) But again, we have to accept that this time really is different and we have to, we absolutely MUST get right with our thinking and expect things to get better. The only delay that we may experience when the Ten of Swords shows up is that we really truly honestly do have the ability to think ourselves out of a positive resolution to the end of our difficult situation, which delays the inevitable positive resolution that we are being promised. So don't do that! Do whatever you have to do to accept and embody the energy that this time it really is different and that whatever difficulty or difficulties you have been facing are really, truly, honestly ending. Breathe, affirm, do whatever it takes to align yourself with this energy. Breathe out the past, breathe out the doubts, breathe out the hurt and pain that your difficulties may have created for you. Create the space for things to be different this time. Because this time it absolutely is.
