Focus Your Power

Our Divine Download for August 15, 2026 is Power from the Healing With the Angels Oracle Cards. We typically have more power over situations than we believe that we do. Power exists within us, is harnessed through us, and is also something that we create. Our power is best expressed from a balanced place where it is not oppressive to anyone else. When we empower ourselves we should also be uplifting others (when others feel thwarted or undermined by us expressing our power, we are not doing it appropriately or responsibly. We often fail to take agency over our power by not recognizing the choices that we have within situations and by not communicating our desires, needs, and wants to the universe - both of which are two of the most powerful things that we can do. We are conditioned to believe that we are not powerful beings when nothing can be further from the truth. Our thoughts shape our reality. What could possibly be more powerful than that?! But we often only think about our desires, needs, and wants in a fleeting moment, we don't focus our thoughts on how amazing it will feel when we achieve and receive them. Instead we focus on what we don't have and what we don't want, and then we're genuinely confused as to why nothing ever changes for us. Our minds are truly the most powerful tool that we have and we don't pay nearly enough attention to our thoughts and we certainly don't direct them in the most powerful way. We can breathe life, breathe our own power of creation into all that we desire, need and want simply by allowing ourselves to envision it, feel it, and imagine it as though we already have it, as though it has already happened. Try it. Spend a few minutes each day just sitting with the mental image of having everything that your heart desires and see what moves and changes for you that day, that week, that month. When you catch yourself thinking your way down a doomsday spiral, cancel, clear, and delete that stinkin' thinkin' and replace it by breathing deeply and fully into the vision of what you do want. It isn't easy to break these patterns of awareness, but it is so worth it when you do. Prove to yourself just how incredibly powerful you actually are!
