Our Divine Download for November 8, 2022 is Defense/Eihwaz from The Rune Cards. If there appear to be obstacles in your path right now, consider that this delay may not only prove beneficial, but may even be necessary. Now is not the time to be overly eager to press forward or to assert our own wills or our artificial timelines. You are not in situations at present where you can make your influence felt. Patience is the strong council of Eihwaz. There is no need for anything hectic, no point in acting needy or lusting after specific desired outcomes. This Rune often announces a time of waiting, and this waiting which is necessary and proper to the cyclical nature of our situation, akin to the fruit needing to ripen on the bough. Perseverance and foresight are called for now. We are deciders more than doers and once the decision is clear, which usually comes in time, the doing becomes effortless because the universe supports and empowers our actions. Receiving the Rune of Defense, you are put on notice that through difficulties and discomfort, growth is promoted. This may be a trying time, but it will be a meaningful one even so. Now is the time to make sure that you have done all that you can do, to get your proverbial house in order, continue to tend to business as it arises, to be crystal clear, but ultimately to wait on the will of heaven.
