Gift Yourself Receptivity

Our Divine Download for December 12, 2025 is Give & Receive from the Gentle Wisdom Of The Fairies. The winter holidays are often very focused on giving, and that is a-ok, but our fairy friends remind us that we should work towards having an equal balance of giving and receiving. So many of us are comfortable giving, but challenged when it comes to receiving, and that is no good. When we are not open to and practiced receiving, we can inadvertently deny the blessings that the universe is trying to bestow upon us. When we are not open to or willing to receive, we deny others the joy of giving to us, and that is no bueno. But what's worse: when we refuse to receive, whatever the reason, we are also sending a message out to others and the universe that we don't need or want anything, and that we're good on our own, and that we don't need or want help. Then we tend to get prickly when support does not show up for us even though we rebuked it. And that is not the way that it is meant to be! We are meant to be helped, supported, and loved by the universe. We are meant to regularly experience gifts and blessings from the universe. If you are not experiencing these things in your life, be willing to take an honest inventory of yourself, your choices, your thoughts, your words, and your actions and assess if you are blocking yourself from receiving from the universe, or if you are accidentally sending the universe mixed messages about your willingness to receive. If you are, or if you have been, there's great news: it is never too late to pivot and create change in your life! It can start as simply as declaring to the universe "I am open to receive!" and actually being willing to do so. You are worthy. You are deserving. So receive already! The more that you are willing to receive, the more ability you will have to give to others. This is the way.
