This Divine Download comes with a soundtrack in Fleetwood Mac's "Go Your Own Way." Anyone who's ever been around a cat knows that cats very much do what they want. And we're being encouraged to me more cat like in doing our own thing and forging our own paths. This particularly applies to our spirituality at the moment, because the cardinal is alerting us that our spiritual life is out of balance with the rest of our material and physical life, and it's very much time to bring our spirituality back into balance with the rest of our lives. We are spiritual beings having a human experience. We are also all unique in all ways, we all are made up of unique and specific bioindividuality and we are that goes for our spirituality as well. So spirituality cannot possibly work in a one-size fits all type of way for any of us! What may have worked for our families of origin, may not work for us. What works for our spouses or friends, may fit them and not us. And that's okay! No one ever said that spirituality has to be a one size fits all type of thing - true spirituality is meant to be as beautifully unique as each precious individual! There's a wonderful saying in many twelve step type programs "Take what you want and leave the rest." What a novel concept! And we can seamlessly apply this to our spirituality. We can try things on. We can borrow a little from here and a little from there. It's all about whatever works and whatever feels right to us. But the key here is to prioritize your spirituality and recognize yourself as the amazing unique spiritual being that you are. Prioritize your spirituality. Not just sometimes, but all of the time. Do something spiritual, anything, each and every single day. This will pave the path to you going your own way and allow you to walk that path connected with the divine. So be you. Do your own thing. Feed your spirit. And let your soul take flight!
