Our Divine Download for September 8, 2023 is You Are Sacred/Tulsi from the Illustrated Herbiary. Tulsi is also know as Holy Basil. Basil happens to be the herb that is best and most often associated abundance. You have an abundance of sacredness in your life. Do you see it? Do you feel it? Do you honor your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual bodies as if they are in fact sacred? If not, why not? When and where did you lose your disconnect with your sacred nature? And most importantly, what do you intend to do in order to get it back? What does treating something or someone as sacred mean to you? Are you able to see yourself in that same light? Remember, we are all one, therefore, if you see and honor the sacredness in another, it is even more important that you do so for yourself. Somewhere along the lines, organized religion did the macrocosm a disservice when it comes to our views and our understanding of all things sacred and holy. So many of us are from those environments and raised in those backgrounds, that even if we do not actively participate or believe those things, they can be awfully hard to shake because they are rooted into us as part of our ancestral DNA. You are being called on now to figure out what it means to see yourself and treat yourself as sacred and holy. What one thing will you do to honor yourself as such today? Commit to it. You cannot live your most authentic connected and directed spiritual life without acknowledging the spiritual truth of who and what you are.
