Our Divine Download for November 8, 2023 is Honeysuckle/Uinllean from The Green Man Tree Oracle with the Green Man Wisdom: Wisdom hides in secret places. The ancients often saw wisdom as hidden or secret, accessible only by initiation rather than the ordinary man or woman. This notion came from a desire to preserve the power of the mysteries, the point of divine interaction with the everyday world. Their true nature was known to all, but the practices and rituals flowing out of the teachings of the gods were kept hidden, for to make them available to all would have diluted their light into the darkness of the soul and illuminated the innermost longings of humankind. Wisdom can be just as hard to find today, but it is there all the same. The presence of Honeysuckle in a reading suggests that a wealth of meaning lies hidden, ready to be uncovered and explored. Now is not the time to take anything at face value. Now is the time to question absolutely everything. Just as we were reminded in the past few days, now is also not the time to ignore our ties to ancestral wisdom or to not honor it by connecting to and accessing it. There is more than meets the eye right now, and more information to be had, greater lessons to be learned. When you're willing to take a step back and realize that you may have some knowledge, but that you do not yet have the wisdom you require, you empower yourself to seek it out and look for it in those secret places. If you have felt hesitant to act on certain information or within certain situations, this is a sure sign for you that you have not yet discovered the wisdom you require to take meaningful action, and that you will be ready to act and know with certainty where to go once you do. The greatest wisdom of all is being secure in the knowledge that there is always more to learn and discover.
