It's Play Time!

Our Divine Download for August 9, 2026 is Play from the Daily Guidance From Your Angels Oracle Cards. Our Angels bring us the message "Beloved One, it's time to set aside work for a while. Don't worry: we will oversee your responsibilities t their completion. Playfulness, gaiety, and laughter will lift your energy so that you'll return to work with a renewed perspective and heightened energy." Life is not meant to be as serious as we often tend to make it. We are meant to live in joy. We are meant to enjoy our lives. We are meant to experience fun, laughter, lightness, joy, and play. Children innately know how to prioritize play and they will find ways to play even within the confines of their schedules and responsibilities. But we lose that somewhere along the way because society conditions it out of us. As adults we don't prioritize play. Play is something that we have to earn when everything else is done, taken care of, and paid for. Then we wonder why our lives feel so hard and arduous. When we flip the script and schedule play time, prioritize play time, not when and if everything else has been checked off of our proverbial never-ending lists, but because we know that it is something that is good for body, mind, and soul, we find that it tends to make everything else easier and lighter. Play pacifies both our inner child and our disenfranchised adult. The literal definition of play as a verb is to do fun activities, take part in a game, or make music on an instrument. It doesn't have to cost a ton of money. We don't have to over complicate it. But we do need to be willing to have fun in order to prioritize play. Challenge yourself to find a few moments of enjoyment each and every day so that you can begin to lighten your energy and focus on fun. You cannot find your fun when you are in survival mode and so out of touch with allowing yourself to experience enjoyment. Finding your fun and play also do not have to be things that are all day activities or especially time consuming. You can find your fun and play in small moments throughout your day. Prioritizing play and finding your fun is ultimately a mind set. You deserve to play. Play will free your energy and balance your life. It's time to go play.
