Let It Go

This is your directive from the divine to let go of guilt about everything, in all ways. Guilt is a useless emotion that does not serve us and when we allow it to live rent free in our heads, in our hearts, and in our bodies, we are blocking our blessings from coming in by choosing guilt. Guilt often stems from perfectionism and for us holding ourselves up to an impossibly high standard and then punishing ourselves emotionally when we "fail" to meet standards which were always out of reach. Guilt also stems from assigning ourselves responsibility for the wrong-doings of others, even when those wrongs have been done by others against us. We can't change anything with guilt. Guilt doesn't motivate. It doesn't help. It only hinders and we carry around the dead weight of guilt and allow it to take up space within us which is so much better allocated for so many other things. Right here, right now, stop it. Set it down. Let it go. Be done with it. Let yourself off the hook. Forgive yourself. Forgive others. Laugh, cry, scream, do whatever it is you have to do in order to let this go once and for all, forever and for always, through all space and time. It's done now. Put it down and let yourself rest.
