Mindful "Dieting"

Our Divine Download for December 31, 2020 is Dietary Change from the Magical Messages from the Fairies Oracle Cards. I know, I know. Everyone's favorite type of card. But, if we're honest with ourselves, we *know* and have likely known for a while that there's a change (or two, or three...) that we really need to make to our diets. Diet encompasses way more than just what we physically consume for food and drink. Diet is everything that we willingly ingest and participate with. Diet is what we take in through social media. Diet is who we choose to spend time with. Diet is what we surround ourselves with in our homes. What we listen to. What we smell. What we see. What we touch. What we hear. So that's a lot! This card isn't a message to overhaul your entire life and your entire diet, but rather to focus on one or two things that you KNOW are not working for you, are not serving you, just don't feel good to you. Here's a hint: if anything you ingest makes you feel like crap, then stop ingesting it. Regardless of what it is or how you are ingesting it. Sometimes this card can also serve as a reminder that we need to put healthier things into our bodies or our surroundings too. Often we see the word "diet" and we are automatically drawn into a state of withholding and lack. But this can also be about adding that which is good, healthy, nurturing, sustaining. So on this last day of 2020 (Yes, we really did make it!), take an inventory of all areas of your diet. Look at it in all ways and from all angles. Look for what is missing. Look for what isn't serving you, or worse, is poisoning your well being in some way. Commit to make changes there. The changes that we choose to make from this space of consciously connected perspective are magical and have ripple down trickle down effects and start a great flow of awareness and blessings into all areas of our lives.
