Our Divine Download for July 30, 2023 is Six of Swords from the Golden Girls Tarot. In other tarot interpretations this would be the six of air, six of winter, or six of Archangel Michael. The suit of swords has to do with mental or cerebral energy and often puts focus on our thinking, our over thinking, and our stinkin' thinkin' (because we never do any of that - lol!) But the Six of Swords is a card of passage, a card of voyage, and the beautiful thing about taking the type of trip, voyage, or passage that the six of swords references is that once you have embarked on your journey, there is no going back from where you've come. Just like roller coasters are only able to move forward on their tracks, the six of swords is all about forward movement and progress, away from dark, difficult, challenging times. It is absolutely about movement that will move us towards things becoming lighter and easier. And again, have no worries about going back to where you started, or back from where you've come, because you just can't. It simply isn't possible. Because whenever you embarked upon this particular journey, you've changed and the new and improved version of you cannot exist in the same space that the old version of you occupied. So it is only forward momentum from here, only onward and upward. The six of swords also cautions you not to be so obsessed thinking about the destination that you forget to notice the progress of the journey, or completely neglect to even experience the journey.
