Our Divine Download for July 22, 2025 is Blessings from the Black Goddess Within Oracle. This card is a reminder to stop and take stock of what is available to you. Locate where you can align your resources and your unique abilities with your success. In northwest Tanzania, water flows from the Ewaso Ng'iro River into Lake Natron, from which it cannot escape because there is no outlet. The water is mineral-rich and evaporates through the sun's heat, which is it's only escape. The highly salinated conditions are toxic to most living things. However, as pictured on this card, there are flamingos that flourish in this environment. The majority of this species of the world's flamingos have adapted to survive in this inhospitable environment. They have tough skin, scales that prevent burning from the caustic water, the ability to drink water near the boiling point, and glands that remove salt from the water making it drinkable. Almost nothing survives here. But millions of flamingos not only survive, but thrive in the shadows of Mt. Kilimanjaro, mating with wild abandon. Our ancestors have given each of us the resources to thrive in environments and situations that are uniquely suited to our success, even if those environments and situations may seem or even feel unlivable at first glance. We are stronger and more adaptable than we may believe, and our blessings are waiting to multiply with wild abandon as soon as we surrender to the circumstances within our environments and situations which are unchangeable and beyond our control. How cool is that?!
