Throw It In Reverse...

Our Divine Download for August 24, 2026 is Take A Step Back from The Angel Guide Oracle. Sometimes when we are in the midst of a situation, any situation, we do not have the necessary or helpful perspective because we are just too close to it. We don't see our part, our responsibility, what we are meant to learn, and possibly even our failures because we simply aren't looking (fun fact: you will never see or find what you are not looking for!) If there is a situation or situations in your life right now which is not comfortable for you, is challenging for you, is causing you emotional distress, try taking a step back and simply being the observer for a bit. Shelf it. Table it. Walk away for a minute to catch your breath or have a breather. And see what you notice. In the quiet that follows withdrawing from conflict or discomfort, even temporarily, we can often find solutions that we could not see, hear, or connect with before. We can sometimes even discover that we were never meant to be a part of that particular conflict to begin with. When we have healing and helping hearts it becomes natural and far to easy to pick up the sword to fight for things that have nothing to do with us because we are trying to help. But when we do that, we are often denying others the opportunity to learn their lessons from their learning experience. Taking a step back, pushing pause on a situation, or taking a time out does not have to mean that you are giving up or surrendering. Rather it gives you the necessary time and space to return stronger and wiser, possibly with new and helpful insight, awareness, and inspiration. It isn't meant to be that hard. Nothing in our lives is meant to be so hard. If it is, that is a sure sign that you are overdue to take a step back and course correct. Give yourself that opportunity. You will be delighted to discover just how much easier everything can be.
