Protect To Be Protected

Our Divine Download for October 15, 2025 is Protection from the Seasons of the Witch Lammas Oracle. It is nice to be reminded that we are divinely protected during this chaotic time of year when the veil is thinning and the energies are a little wonkier than usual (though in 2025 it may be hard to tell that anything is any different in a year where seemingly anything has gone all year). Spirit is reassuring us that we ARE in fact protected and that we have nothing to worry about (although worry is just always wasted energy anyway!) Sometimes protection comes in forms other than what we may expect, and sometimes in order to be protected, we also have to act as the protector. The universe rewards proactivity. The image on the card shows the woman protecting her eggs, something that is more vulnerable than she, in a basket, and she is holding a rooster who would sound the alarm at the first sign of anything being amiss or awry. We need to take the tangible steps, those common sense steps, to protect ourselves and that which we have. We can't leave our houses and our cars unlocked and then wonder why they have been broken in to. We have to acknowledge our strength and our ability, our innate power to protect ourselves and those and that which matter to us. While we are always divinely protected, and seemingly have an extra layer of Divine protection right now, we can't just throw caution to the wind and assume everything will be good. We have to do our part and allow the universe to do the rest. It's teamwork. It's a partnership. Just like everything else with co-creation. You've got this. And the universe has got you!
