Sssshhhh!

Our Divine Download for July 13, 2026 is Source Dragon (who attunes you to the Infinite!) from the Dragon Oracle Cards. The Source Dragon says "Be still. In the silence, magic can happen. Be in the moment." We need quiet and stillness in our lives and that can be exceptionally hard to come by in such a loud, frenetic world. But, if we want to be able to tune into source, as well as ourselves in the most intimate way, we need to find ways to cultivate the quiet and stillness in our own little worlds. You don't need to have a formal time or place to do this (though you know that there is exceptional value in cultivating your best meditation practice!), because you can begin and meet yourself exactly where you are by making a conscious effort to be in the present moment. As AI gains more ground and acceptance throughout our culture, it becomes harder and harder to differentiate between what is real and what isn't. But you are always real. You can always stay in the present moment by checking in with yourself and notice what you see, noticing what you hear, noticing what you touch, noticing what you taste and smell, noticing what you feel, and noticing in those quiet, focused moments, what you think about when your thoughts are not being directed or guided by any sort of outside force. These are the moments that will pave the way for magic in your life. In order for our blessings (aka the magic) to be able to land, we have to cultivate space for it to do so. That is both literally and metaphorically. We create that space in the stillness. In the quiet. It is in those moments, in those spaces, in that quiet, when we are closest to and in greatest communion with the Divine. It is in those moments, in those spaces, in that quiet, when we can begin to know ourselves the best. It is in those moments, in those spaces, in that quiet when we can cultivate both joy and peace. If you haven't been feeling particularly peaceful or particularly joyful, sit your ass down, take a couple of deep breaths and check in with yourself. Notice what you notice.
