Structure Your Stillness

Spiritually, Skullcap is used to bind oaths and to consecrate commitments. It is a useful ally in initiation rituals, imprinting the vows made to oneself or between lovers. Skullcap is ruled by Pluto, the archetype representing our will and power, which ties our relationships to our inner authority and leadership. Skullcap tells us that the storm has passed. You've just weathered or are weathering a passing storm (passing. As in not permanent. As in this too shall pass. No matter how long the storm feels like it has been raging.) Ground yourself into the present moment. If you feel fear, find comfort and consolation in stillness as you re-adapt to the post-storm stillness available to you now. Scorpio embodies the stillness of darkness, and it assist by accepting sudden change with ease and calm. If you're feeling exhausted, drained, or depleted, this is the time to pause, and withdraw. You're in the process of rebuilding after the storm. Don't rush, reflect. Take the time to birth a new structure that supports the new version of yourself. Saturn's rulership also reminds us that we need to be structured and disciplined about our stillness. We can't take rest and experience stillness IF time allows or when we get everything done. We need to schedule in stillness. We need to practice the pause. This is what our system needs to integrate what we have been through with who we are and where we are going. Don't keep moving just because it is what you have always done. What you have always done is no longer an energetic match or supportive of who you are or who you are becoming.
