Surrender To Change

Our Divine Download for January 14, 2024 is Change and Surrender from the Self-Care Wisdom Cards. Change reminds us that "A resistance to change is resistance to life itself. Open your heart and mind to new beginnings." Surrender tells us "Stop trying to control life - it gets in the way of divine intervention." Change will happen in our lives whether we like it or not, and being the creatures of habit that we are, we typically do not. But change is necessary and change is good. Even nature demonstrates that it changes in multitudes of ways - right down to the seasons themselves. If there is something in your life that you don't love, then lean in and allow it to change (in the universe's way, in the universe's time, and on the universe's schedule - that's the surrender portion of the program. Control is an illusion folks!) If there is something in your life that you DO love, and maybe want even more of, then ASK for more, and allow the universe to deliver that in it's own way, in it's own time, and on it's own schedule. The more flexible we can be about surrendering to change, the less resistance that we show to change, the more we will see positive changes in our lives and the more (and more quickly!) our blessings will multiply. Change is rarely ever truly positive or negative, it is just usually different. Different doesn't have to be bad. Especially when we embrace it with acceptance rather than resistance.
