Our Divine Download for October 9, 2025 is Love from the Gypsy Oracle Cards. Even though Cupid is depicted on this card, albeit in repose, all love, whether it is romantic, platonic, or familial, starts with self love. Self love isn't necessarily a skill that we are taught in our society. In fact, it is often quite the opposite: we are rewarded for martyring ourselves and ignoring our own needs and even labeled as narcissists if we love ourselves. What are your current needs? Are you meeting them? What are your current desires? Are you allowing yourself to pursue them? What are your current feelings? Are you allowing yourself the grace and space to prioritize them and to feel your way through them? What are your current thoughts? Are they helping you or hindering you? (And what are you doing to ensure that they are helpful, not hurtful?) What is your body currently communicating to you and what movement, rest, and nutrients does it need? Are you listening? Are you reacting in an appropriate and timely manner? How are you nourishing yourself? How are you nurturing yourself? How are you speaking to yourself? Are you telling yourself that you love you each and every single day? All of this is important when it comes to self love. If you are not loving yourself, you cannot fully love anyone else. You cannot pour from an empty cup. What are you doing to fill your own cup first? Self love can be learned, and in order to truly be learned, it must be practiced. If you are not feeling the love, if you are not feeling as though you have the amount of love that you would like to have in your life, prioritize your self love first and foremost. Love yourself first, best, boldest, and baddest, and you will be pleasantly surprised by the amount of love that will exist in your life because love begets love. #facts
