If you have ever met a cat you are well aware that cats do not wonder if they are worthy of essentially anything. Cats, including Tabby Cats, March right into your home and your heart and they make themselves at home as though they have taken up residency in that location for the past thousand years. They do not question their worth, and they don't have a whooping fundt to give about your opinion on anything they do. Tabby Cat NEVER EVER doubts that she is worthy. She reminds you that you too are not just worthy, but you are already enough. She asks you to breathe into that knowing and honor that remembrance. In Ancient Egypt, Cat was a representative of the Goddess Bast when she came to dwell in your home. She was considered family royalty. In ancient Celtic lands, Druids used Cat medicine to help them sleep between the worlds. During the Spanish Inquisition, cats were seen as magical avatars who assisted with sorcery (I.e. familiars). Cat is associated with divinity and magic because she keeps her energy attuned and asks you to take a page out of her play book by doing the same. Keeping your energy clear and attended helps you best tune into your own divinity and magic. Tabby cat asks you to consider if it is possible for you to be both independent and reliant on others the way domesticated cats are now reliant on their human parents but also maintaining an aura of self-sufficiency and independence? Tabby cat also asks you to consider If you can be fully content with life while not being in complete control? Domesticated cats are never in complete control of their lives (miss their dinner time and they will surely let you know exactly how they feel about that!), yet they exude contentment in unprecedented ways because they KNOW that their needs will always be met. Be in the know, just like Tabby Cat. Really KNOW it. Feel it. Accept it. Embody it. And so it is!
