Our Divine Download for November 6, 2022 is The Self/Mannaz from The Rune Cards. The Self tells us that flat out, our starting point is the self, the essence of which is water (hence our need to be present, in the moment, and in the flow). Only clarity and willingness to change is effective for progress now. A correct relationship to your self is primary, for from it flow all possible right relationships with others and with the Divine. So it's a pretty darned big deal. How is your relationship with yourself? How do you speak to yourself? How do you care for and nurture yourself? Where do you fall on your own list of priorities? Mannaz urges you to begin by being clear with yourself. Rather than turning to others, look inside, in silence, for the enemy of your progress. No matter what part of your life is in disarray, stop and consider: You will recognize the outer enemy as a clear reflection of what you until now been unable or unwilling to recognize as coming from within. This is a time of major growth and rectification, and as a general rule of thumb, rectification must come before progress. Above all be humble, and do not judge yourself for what you discover. Breaking the momentum of past habits is the challenge here. We as human beings are always looking for the end, the finale, the finish line, and Mannaz gently councils that in the life of the Spirit, you are always at the beginning.
