Our Divine Download for April 30, 2022 is Minerva/Beliefs from The Goddess Oracle. Minerva comes to us to alert us that it is time to shake up our perspective by examining our beliefs. It is time to change our beliefs in they do not nurture our wholeness and support our oneness with all that is. She asks us to consider "How are old, outworn, unhealthy thoughts undermining your life, your energy, your happiness? Do you believe that other people think and/or say about you? Are you still running the tape of negative messages your parents or caregivers or family of origin gave you when you were a child? Do you believe the worst about yourself or the best? Are your beliefs too rigid to permit and support your evolution?" Are your beliefs limiting you or holding you back? It is ultimately up to us whether or not we want to live the story that we were born with or create one that nourishes all we want to be. Minerva reminds us that wholeness is nurtured when you see yourself with all of your parts - the light and the dark - and choose your beliefs mindfully, in a connected way to serve your highest good. We have no obligation to our family of origin to perpetuate their beliefs. We have no obligation to our past beliefs to continue to operate from within the confines of those limitations if they no longer serve us. Do a belief inventory and roto rooter out anything that is no longer in alignment with your highest good.
Past beliefs, both ours and those belonging to our family of origin can actually be contained within our cellular memory and ancestral DNA.
